Bali the Paradise Island

The first picture was taken at Uluwatu, Bali.
Uluwatu is at the southernmost tip of southern Bali, Indonesia.Uluwatu proper is a small village on the west coast, south of Jimbaran, but for most visitors it refers only to the famous temple of the same name, several kilometers further south. Many people also use it to refer to the area south of Jimbaran. The entire area is also called the Bukit Peninsula or just The Bukit, while Pecatu (peh-CHA-tuh) refers to a small village inland.
Uluwatu Temple (Pura Uluwatu) is one of Bali's six directional temples and Uluwatu's only site of significance. More remarkable than the temple itself is its location, perched on a steep cliff 70 meters above the roaring ocean waves. There are more steep headlands on either side, and sunsets over Uluwatu are a sight to behold.

Entrance fee is 3000 IDR, sarong rental is free. As usual, you need to be properly dressed to enter, sarongs and sashes can be rented at the entrance. Guides, once famously mercenary, hassle visitors less than they used to. Note that, while you are free to walk around the edges of the temple, the central courts can only be entered during special rituals.

The temple is inhabited by large number of monkeys, who are extremely adept at snatching visitors' belonging, including bags, cameras and eyeglasses. Keep a very close grip on all your belongings and stow away your eyeglasses if at all possible. If you do have something taken, the monkeys can usually be induced to exchange it for some fruit; needless to say, rewarding the monkeys like this only encourages them to steal more. Locals will be happy to do the job for you, naturally in exchange for a tip (Rp 10,000 - 50,000).

The second Picture called Kecak Dance.
Kecak dance (aka "monkey dance") performances are held at the temple daily between 9AM and 6.30 PM. Tickets for the visually spectacular if rather unoriginal show (it was invented in the 1930s) cost Rp 50,000. The show is performed for tourists and lasts 1 hour.
Of all the dances on Bali, the Kecak dance is perhaps the most dramatic. Taken from the Hindu epic Ramayana, the dance tells the story of Prince Rama and his rescue of Princess Sita, who has been kidnapped by the evil King of Lanka. Unlike other dances, there is no gamelan orchestra accompanying it. Instead, a troupe of over 150 bare-chested men serve as the chorus, making a wondrous cacophony of synchronized "chak-achak-achak" clicking sounds while swaying their bodies and waving their hands.

Dieng Mountain

One of thousand beautiful scenery in Indonesia

Dieng Plateau, is a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the Dieng active volcano complex, and is located near Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia.

It is the site for eight small Hindu temples which is Arjuna Temple, Srikandi Temple, Puntadewa Temple, Sembrada Temple, Gatot Kaca Temple, Bima Temple, Dwarawati / Parikesit Temple from the 7th and 8th centuries, the oldest Hindu temples in Central Java, and the first known standing stone structures in Java. They are originally thought to have numbered 400 but only 8 remain. These temple are place for local people to pray to God Syiwa
The Dieng structures were small and relatively plain, but stone architecture developed substantially in only a matter of decades resulting in masterpieces such as the Prambanan complex and Borobudur. The name "Dieng" comes from Di Hyang which means "The Gods Abode".
Its misty location almost 2000 m above sea level, and its mists, poisonous effusions and sulphur-coloured lakes make it a particularly auspicious place for religious tribute. The temples are small shrines built as monuments to the god-ancestors, rather than as a convenience to man.

Part of General Sudirman's guerilla campaign during Indonesian War of Independence took place in the area.

Besides the temple in Dieng Plateau there many other sightseeing. There are craters, cave and lake.
The picture above is one of the Lake in Dieng. It's called Merdada Lake. Besides Merdada Lake there is one Lake that very wellknown. It's Warna Lake. Warna Lake have legend that it is the place that Goddess take a bath. That's why the color of the water always changed.

For some information, in Dieng there are some hotel and guest house for those who want to stay. The room rate is quite cheap. In high season the room rate is between 50-150 thousand Rupiahs.
Here are some hotel and guest house : Bu Djono Motel, Dieng Plateau Homestay, Asri Hotel, Gunung Mas Hotel.
